Like a Jigsaw
This intaglio print was created in connection with the Christchurch earthquake back in 2014. During this time, a lot of the city’s most prominent buildings were being demolished. I spent an afternoon biking around the city, taking photos of both the rubble and the structures that survived. As I looked at the scaffolding, it reminded me of a Lego set, fitting together to create the building blocks for something bigger and better to come.
